Understanding leather means designing more consciously.
In our workshops, we demonstrate the origin of leather, its processing methods, and what truly makes it sustainable. We combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience, enabling participants to make informed decisions – whether in their daily lives, at school, or in a professional setting.
Whether a lecture, training, or multi-part workshop: We provide insights into origin, supply chains, tanning, and material quality – individually tailored or openly bookable.
Our three-part workshop concept is designed for anyone looking to delve deeper – from introductory to decision-making levels. For schools, companies, and events, we offer customized formats and speaker presentations.
We are particularly passionate about the series "The Path of Leather" in collaboration with the Swiss label MARAI, a journey from origin to workshop, where theory meets craftsmanship.

In-depth and structured: Our customized workshop modules
We deliberately designed our three workshop modules to provide step-by-step guidance, from initial introduction to in-depth expertise. Every piece of leather involves decisions regarding origin, processing, and responsibility. You can book the modules individually.
The content is structured progressively, blending profound knowledge with practical relevance, drawing from our own experience in agriculture, craftsmanship, and design. Our guiding principle is the desire to debunk myths, make knowledge accessible, and open up new, sustainable perspectives on leather.
Whether you are looking for initial insights or aiming to make informed decisions for your company, our workshop offerings will guide you on this path, online or on-site.

The Path of Leather - Workshop Series in collaboration with MARAI
Where does leather truly begin – and what does it take for it to become a durable, valuable product? In our joint workshop series with the Swiss label MARAI, we open doors that usually remain closed: You will visit farms, learn about the tanning processes, and design your own piece in the studio.
The “Path of Leather” makes its origin tangible – a sensory, honest, and artisanal experience. In small groups, we create space for genuine insights, open questions, and personal encounters with people, animals, and materials.
To kick off the series, we'll first visit the tannery – we'll experience how hide becomes leather. Afterward, in the studio, we will collaboratively create our own piece from regionally tanned leather.
Personal, approachable, and with space for genuine exchange. Spaces are limited.
